Please Go to my home page the voting link is there PEOPLES ARTIST. Hi Friends, I have been invited to participate in The People’s Artist, an artist competition that benefits The Art of Elysium, a nonprofit organization that provides community arts programs and artist services (/wiki/The_Art_of_Elysium). I am honored to be invited to share my 50+ years of art, from the brick floor exhibit at the Baltimore Museum, to my flip book of Transformations sold at the Museum of Modern Art, to my latest motorcycles displayed at the Born Free shows. The winner of the competition is voted for by the public. You can see some of my work at /karl-ardo-nfVE. (Click on the 1st picture and it will become a slide show.) If you would like to support my efforts, please vote. Voting opens Monday May 4 and allows you to vote FREE once every 24 hours till May 14. Click the “Vote” button on my profile page. You will be directed down the page; click the “Free” button and it will have you sign into Facebook. Unfortunately, if you are not on Facebook or Instagram a vote requires a donation – so no need to vote or contribute. There are 9 rounds of elimination, so with any luck, I may ask you to do this again. The final winner will be announced on August 6. I’ll keep you posted about the progress and dates. Thank you.
Getting the pieces together to start my last project 😎MAYBE. I picked up a 2.5” thin wall driveshaft- 1/4”aluminum plate for the engine cradle- custom neck &cups-PA50 frontend-front and rear rims/tires read to go-I have most of what I need hanging around- soon to arrive Aluminum 750 big bore jugs. All this for my last build, this one is for me🤓. I’m humbled and fortunate to have Josh Winderman as my friend. None of what I/we have built together ever would have happened to level of detail without his input. His talent in fabrication and his eye for detail is a gift. He chooses not to post on social media. So what you see on my sites know he’s had a big part in it😎👍🏻
Some of my handy work 1972 - 3,000 miles on it I rolled it over a few times on a country road in Monkton Maryland. Joyce and I walked away I only got a small cut in my back. It wasn’t our time to go ✌️
