For nearly four years, Zero Abuse Project has been on the front lines of something most people never see. Our ICAC program trains the investigators who track predators, trace cryptocurrency, and save children from sextortion schemes before a crisis becomes a tragedy. Last month, we learned our funding won't be renewed. This May, we're sharing the full story and how you can join us as we build a world where every child is free from abuse.

Throughout Child Abuse Prevention Month, you've met the educators, investigators, prosecutors, and professionals working every day to protect children and the programs walking alongside survivors on their healing journey. Board member and psychotherapist Diba Kaya reminds us this work continues year-round through education, research, advocacy, and technology. Protecting children takes all of us. If you believe every child deserves safety, you can help continue this work. See link in bio to support the mission. Protecting Children Takes All of Us

Every child deserves to grow up safe, supported, and free to just be a kid. In 2025, we showed up for survivors, for families, and for the professionals on the frontlines. The work doesn't stop, and neither do we. This is what your support makes possible. See link in bio for your full impact. #ChildSafety #ProtectChildren #SurvivorSupport

Support for survivors doesn't happen in a single moment. It happens every day, through consistent action, education, and access to resources. That's the heart of the work at Zero Abuse Project. Thank you for being part of it. Together, we move closer to a world free from abuse. #NCVRW2026 #ZeroAbuseProject #SurvivorSupport

Healing from abuse takes time. Access to FREE resources like SurvivorSpace.org and 1in6.org can make a powerful difference in a survivor’s journey. Zero Abuse Project works to ensure survivors have access to information and resources that support healing and recovery.

Supporting survivors is a critical part of protecting children. For many survivors, healing begins with access to the right resources, community, and support. That's exactly what programs like SurvivorSpace, 1in6, and the Bristlecone Project provide. Becky Perkins leads these initiatives through the Center for Survivor Resilience, creating safe, survivor-led spaces for connection, learning, and growth. Here's why this work matters to her.

Child protection doesn’t end when a case closes. Survivors often continue their healing journey long after investigations and court proceedings. Through the Center for Survivor Resilience, Zero Abuse Project provides resources designed to help survivors navigate healing and find support. Supporting survivors is an essential part of protecting children.

Every child protection case depends on trained professionals. 🔹Investigators. 🔹Prosecutors. 🔹Forensic interviewers. 🔹Advocates. Your support helps expand this training and strengthen the systems protecting children. See link in bio to support the mission.

Protecting children from abuse requires more than good intentions. It requires training professionals to recognize warning signs before it's too late. Tyler Counsil leads the Center for Education & Workforce Development and the Child Advocacy Studies (CAST) program at Zero Abuse Project, preparing the next generation of investigators, social workers, educators, and attorneys with the skills to protect children. Here's why this work matters to him.

Protecting children in the legal process requires more than asking the right questions. It requires speaking with children in ways that are developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed, and legally sound. Caitie Dahl leads training through ChildFirst Forensic Interviewing, equipping professionals across the country with the skills to conduct interviews that help ensure children are heard while minimizing additional trauma. Here's why this work matters to her.
