Smooth line work is about more than looks. We set out to design a scope mount that fit the scope tube as well as possible, given the assembly limitations.
The “tried and true” two-piece system has worked for decades, so why question it?
If you do some searching around and talk to some people that spend a lot of time setting up and using optics, you will find that the two-piece clamp has some well known drawbacks. Mainly, getting the reticle to stay level while torquing the fasteners. And once in a while, an inability for the elevation and or windage turret to be adjusted once the clamp is torqued to spec. But why?
The short answer for the sake of this long winded post, is that the distortion of the tube caused by the rings, translates to distortion in the scope components, geometry, and tolerances. All of which are critical for performance, accuracy, and repeatability.

Scopes are an expensive investment, as they should be. Without clear vision you can only get so far and you want to protect your investment. This is where Zero Gravity comes into play.
Zero Gravity created a clamping solution that not only mounts your scope securely, but prevents damage to the scope tube.
Using a three-piece design, they overlap each piece into the next creating a seamless contact area that maintains the scope tubes original shape. Having the rings come together at a single central point allows them to swing together evenly as they are torqued, eliminating the “roll” that makes setting up a scope in other mounts so tedious and time consuming.
Scope mounts and optional mounts for your red dot are available. Designed and manufactured here in the USA 🇺🇸
