📌주차는 비움이 아닌 새로운 경험의 공간 이제 자동차는 단순한 이동수단이 아니라, 머무는 시간을 어떻게 전환할 수 있는지를 묻는 실험의 장이 되고 있습니다. 〈Room No. α〉은 알파세대와 함께, 주차 공간을 개인 소유의 방이자 공유하는 거실로 확장하는 미래 모빌리티를 상상합니다. 본 프로젝트는 현대차 제로원인큐베이션팀, MSV엔지니어링솔루션팀과 XR콘텐츠 개발 전문 기업 클릭트, 제로원랩 크리에이터(홍대 MR 미디어랩, 디지털 세로토닌 팀)가 협업하여, 기아 PV5를 새로운 PBV(Purpose Built Vehicle)공간으로 재구성한 작업입니다. 관객은 MR·VR 콘텐츠와 전용 앱을 통해 차량 내부를 학습, 휴식, 게임, 케어 등 다양한 라이프스타일로 변형하는 경험을 할 수 있습니다. 실내 무빙 레이아웃을 기반한 주차모드, 클린 모빌리티, 개인화 인터페이스는 ‘머무는 차량’을 위한 기술로 제안되며, 이는 기능보다 경험, 이동보다 머묾을 위해 설계된 새로운 가능성입니다. 알파세대에 포커싱을 맞춘만큼, 서울디지텍고등학교 학생들과의 워크숍을 통해 발굴된 아이디어 역시 이번 전시에 반영되었습니다. 📌Stillness Transformed into Experience: parking time becomes living space Increasingly, the automobile is no longer just a vehicle for transport but a platform for rethinking how parked time can be transformed into meaningful experiences. Room No. α imagines future mobility with the Generation Alpha, expanding the parking space into both a private room and a shared living space. This project is a collaboration between Hyundai Motor’s ZER01NE Incubation Team, MSV Engineering Solutions, XR-content studio CLICKED, and ZER01NE LAB creators The Concierges (Hongik University’s MR Media Lab and Digital Serotonin). Together, they reconfigure the Kia PV5 into a new PBV (Purpose Built Vehicle) interior environment. Through MR/VR content and a dedicated app, visitors can experience how the vehicle’s interior can shift into modes for learning, gaming, or caregiving. Parking-specialized modes, clean mobility functions, and personalized updates are introduced as technologies designed not for movement alone but for staying—emphasizing experience over function. 📌우주에서의 모빌리티, 공존하는 문명의 시작 우주는 더 이상 상상 속의 영역이 아닙니다. 아르테미스 계획과 루나 게이트웨이 같은 인프라 구축이 현실화되며, 달은 지금 ‘도착 예정지’로 떠오르고 있습니다. 〈달, 공동의 도시(Lunar Commons City)〉는 달을 생존의 기지가 아닌, 새로운 공동체의 가능성을 실험하는 장소로 바라보고, 인간 중심의 도시가 아닌 로봇이 철학과 감각을 구현하는 도시를 상상합니다. 본 프로젝트는 현대차 L 프로젝트 팀과 IVAAIU City가 협업하여 구축한 달 위의 자율 도시 시뮬레이션입니다. 하이 프론티어, 셰어드 플랫폼, 루나 아이콘, 루나 커먼즈까지 네 개의 구획으로 나뉜 도시에는, 생존부터 협력, 상징, 시민성까지 다양한 가치가 구현됩니다. 각 구역에는 자율주행 로버(VOLT-9, UNIT-02, FLARA, CURA)가 배치되어 도시를 구성하고 운영하며, 단순한 기능을 넘어 도시의 리듬과 감각을 조율하는 능동적 존재로 작동합니다. 3RO(Rover + Road + Robotics) 시스템은 단순한 이동 수단이 아니라, 도시를 살아 숨 쉬게 만드는 동력입니다. 〈달, 공동의 도시〉는 탐사의 종착점이 아닌 공존의 출발점을 상상하며, 미래의 우주에서 우리는 어떤 존재로, 누구와 함께, 어떻게 살아갈지를 다시 묻습니다. _________________________________________ 📌Mobility in Space, the Beginning of a Coexisting Civilization Space is no longer reserved for the imagination. With NASA’s Artemis program ushering in a new era of crewed missions and infrastructure projects like the Lunar Gateway taking form, the Moon is no longer a distant dream but a scheduled destination. Lunar Commons City reimagines the Moon not as a survival base, but as a site for experimenting with new forms of community—a city shaped not by humans alone, but by robots embodying philosophy and sensation. Created in collaboration between Hyundai Motor Group’s L Project Team and IVAAIU City, the project simulates an autonomous lunar city divided into four zones: High Frontier, Shared Platform, Lunar Icon, and Lunar Commons. Each stage embodies values ranging from survival and cooperation to symbolism and citizenship. Within these zones, autonomous rovers—VOLT-9, UNIT-02, FLARA, and CURA—construct and operate the city, acting as more than machines: they are active agents orchestrating its rhythms and sensibilities. The 3RO system (Rover + Road + Robotics) becomes the driving force that animates the city as a living organism. 📌우리는 지속 가능한 시스템을 상상합니다 우리는 오랜 시간 동안 인간 중심의 감각으로만 시간과 생명을 이해해왔습니다. 하지만 생명마다 시간이 흐르는 방식은 다르며, 그 차이를 감지하고 이해하는 감각은 아직 낯설기만 합니다. 〈Consonance〉는 인간이 쉽게 체감하기 어려운 생명 고유의 시간을 ‘듣는’ 방법을 탐구합니다. 〈Consonance〉는 박테리아의 작용에 따라 서서히 생분해되는 LP를 중심으로 구성된 ‘살아있는’ 악기이자 인큐베이터로 기능하는 프로젝트입니다. ‘악기’에서는 두 개의 소리가 발생합니다. 하나는 생분해 LP의 소리, 다른 하나는 빛과 레코드의 상호작용에서 생기는 소리로, LP의 분해 과정은 소리를 일그러뜨리고, 이 변화는 광학 장치와 연동되어 빛의 떨림과 함께 시청각적 공명을 만들어냅니다. 예측할 수 없는 박테리아의 리듬은 소리와 빛을 끊임없이 변화시키고, 관객은 그 흐름 속에서 생물적 시간의 감각을 경험하게 됩니다. 〈Consonance〉는 기술이 생명을 통제하는 것이 아니라, 그 흐름에 감응하고 조율하며 함께 살아갈 수 있다는 가능성을 상상하게 합니다. 여기서 ‘듣는다’는 것은 단순한 청각적 행위가 아니라, 생명의 리듬에 몸으로 반응하는 감각의 태도를 뜻합니다. 기술 없어도, 생명과 우연, 시간의 흐름 안에서 자연스럽게 태어날 수 있는 조용한 감각의 흐름 속에서, 우리는 ‘살아있음’이 무엇인지 다시 묻게 됩니다. ___________________________ ⁣📌Imagining Systems in the Time of Others: In nonhuman rhythms, we dream of sustainability. For a long time, we have understood time and life only through human-centered perception. Yet every living being experiences time differently, and the ability to sense and resonate with those differences still feels unfamiliar. Consonance explores how we might “listen” to the unique temporalities of life that humans cannot easily perceive. At its core is a “living” instrument and incubator built around an LP that gradually biodegrades through bacterial activity. Two kinds of sound emerge: one from the decomposing LP itself, and another from the interaction between light and record. As the LP breaks down, the sound distorts; this transformation, linked to optical devices, produces vibrations of light and an audiovisual resonance. The unpredictable rhythms of the bacteria continuously reshape sound and light, immersing the audience in an experience of biological time. Consonance invites us to imagine technology not as a means of controlling life, but as a way of attuning to its flows—resonating and living alongside it. To “listen” here is not merely an auditory act, but a bodily attitude of responding to the rhythms of life.
