I finallllllly completed my art submission for the Earth Day Birthday Party on Saturday and I'm very proud of it! This piece is a yarn painting!

It was a hard choice not to keep it, but this will be available for sale to any other maryland trash fans, and 20% of the proceeds are donated directly to the Waterfront Partnership!

I'm a little late (whoops) but I wanted to post to celebrate 1 year with my super amazing, adorable boyfriend 💖 This man has made me feel so loved, and has been a calm, grounding, healing presence to a soul that's been through some rouuuugh times (iykyk). I never expected to stumble across my best friend at a speed dating event lol but stranger things have happened! I am inspired by his gentle soul and patience. His smile and laughter is a light in my life. Plus besides being that cute he is the best drag boyfriend a performer could have 🥰 I love every second I get to spend with this handsome man. From trash wheel shenanigans, to drag shows, to Preakness, to NYC, a year full of new beginnings, adventure and excitement has gone by SO quickly!! Life is great and I'm so happy!

1 year of Zephorious!
From sexy construction worker with tearaway pants, to pink and pearled glam, to Gerard They and Punk grunge, this year has held a wide range of looks and musical styles. I still have lots to improve on, but I'm going to continue to push myself creatively as an artist and performer. There's always room for growth and the future is bright :)
Happy 1 year Drag Anniversary to all my wonderful drag family!!! I can't believe it's been a year already with these awesome humans and I can't wait for many more drag shenanigans to come! Getting into drag has been one of the most fulfilling and community bonding hobbies I've ever done and getting to show up to support my friends and drag family is such a joy. Getting ready for my drag show Saturday it hit me, it's been over 10 years since I realized who I truly am. More than a decade since I turned to embrace the true shape of my soul, to run my hands across all the edges of what I loved (and hated) about myself and decide I wanted to carve myself into my authentic form. To dedicate my self love to growing into somebody I could be proud of, who loved themselves just as much as the people they loved.
To transition is a time consuming and difficult process. It takes self awareness, self reflection, courage, and confidence. And to have the support and love of those dearest to you is a gift immeasurable that uplifts the soul and helps fight against the upswell of negativity and hate that surrounds those that live authentically without care for societal expectations and roles.
The past decade has been full of change. I've been married, and gotten divorced. I've socially and medically transitioned. I've made new friends and community, and strengthened my bonds with my oldest friendships. I have poured my love into myself, and the world around me, in an attempt to be the best version of myself I can be.
No body is ever perfect, but to me this body is as perfect as an imperfect body can be and I love it for all it's beauty, flaws and changes. I love all my scars and the healing they represent. To change is to live and I am proud of my changes. To make it to 33 and look in the mirror and love who I see fills me with radiating joy and a fiery determination.
Transitioning is an act of love. And I will never stop fighting for my peace, my joy, my community. Trans lives matter. Trans joy matters. 🩵🩷🤍🩷🩵
