Black culture has always been movement. A rhythm carried through generations, expressed in sound, style, and spirit. Influencing art across the world. Yet, for many Black men (or young black boys), stepping into the world of dance can still be met with hesitation or stigma.
This Black History Month, in collaboration with @zenroseee , we’re celebrating those that break the mould. Male artists of Black and mixed heritage redefining what it means to dance, to express, and to honour the cultures that move through them. 🤎

Movement: The Industry, by Zen Rose (Film Photos)
This shoot is easily the highlight of my year. It helped me fall back in love with a craft I stepped away from a few years ago.
It’s also very special because I got to create with these talented artists. I’ve admired and danced with each one of them and I truly believe in celebrating people who reflect my community.
I’m building this archive as a form of memorabilia. Something that can outlive social media and celebrate black artists.
Thank you @joeylondon for your support and creative eye🫂
