we just wrapped up the third leg of the Minivan Tour and it was such a blast, this was the biggest hometown show i’ve ever played here at The Tabernacle in Atlanta and it’s just amazing seeing the things i dreamt about as a kid come to fruition, especially with my family out there in the crowd who have obviously seen me at every step of the way. thanks to everyone who came out to party on this run, we’re gonna spend May in the studio working on some fresh tunes and then we’ll see ya back on the road in June for the final leg :)
today I am incredibly grateful to announce my sponsorship by two of the most celebrated companies within the drumming world, @zildjiancompany leads as the largest and oldest manufacturer of cymbals on the planet, while @vicfirth stands globally as the number one drumstick brand available, for me to now become endorsed by them is something i’ve spent my entire life dreaming of. i’ve never owned one cymbal that was not created by Zildjian, and if you look very closely at the final photo, you’ll see a Vic Firth drumstick clutched in the hand of a three year old me as i’m side stage watching my dad endorse these exact same two brands i’m writing of today, I am immensely privileged and honored to be representing my all time favorite companies, thank you for believing in me and my drumming.
i put a crack in six of those gold round thingy’s over the thirty concerts and this part of the set was likely a large contributor, that’s what i get for trying to pretend i’m in a metal band all the time :/ also who came to the Boston House of Blues show wasn’t this fun??? top three on the tour in my opinion
