Long Run - Resilience Check 2025
Riding bikes is my passion, but I also believe that fitness has more depth than that. Fitness is more diverse than one activity, and something I really value is having a robustness or resilience to my fitness. That resilience shows up as shorter times to adapt to new activities, and lower chances of injury.
Today I am challening myself on a long run. The activity itself was very hard, but what I am really interested in is how the recovery will go and what sorts of aches and pains might pop up after the fact. This recovery will give me some valuable insights on how robust or resilient my body is, and give me some feedback on things I can improve.
