Discover @zeedj Erbil-based DJ and selector who has been a cornerstone of the Kurdistan Region’s electronic music scene since 2003. Deeply influenced by 80s and 90s disco and house music and drawing inspiration from legends like Frankie Knuckles, Marshall Jefferson, and Kerri Chandler, he has crafted a style defined by soulful grooves and funky basslines. While house music is his sanctuary, he is equally celebrated for delivering high-energy, uplifting trance sets.
Beyond the decks, Mr. Zee is a vital cultural architect. As the co-founder of Oceanic Entertainment (Oceanic.krd) @oceanic.krd , he is the driving force behind the region’s largest festivals, including Avalanche, SummerFest, and Sunset Valley. His commitment to the local community is cemented through „We Rave It,” his signature house music parties, and „Jack’s Groove” on SoundCloud, a platform dedicated to showcasing local talent. Mr. Zee continues to act as both a guide and a champion for Erbil’s evolving dance music culture.
