There is no fishing allowed in Cabo Pulmo these days. Following its establishment as a “no-take” zone (no fishing) by local community initiatives in 1995, the area has experienced a 460%+ increase in fish biomass, according to a report from the Marine Conservation Institute and Adventures in Baja.
