Firdaus 2 A long time in making, this piece explores nostalgia of the 'Sawan' season. Occuring in months of July to August in parts Pakistan and India, the season is often associated with love, joy and, as is the case with all things beautiful, longing. 'Phir sawan rut ki pawan chali, tum yaad aye' As the monsoon winds blew again, it reminded me of you As heavens trickle down, gathering in small pools on leaves they ultimately fall on flowers and the earth, releasing a symphony of scents. Scents that bring a barrage of memories and more joys to look forward to. I did not know what music to use for this reel until I stumbled upon a live version of this ghazl penned by Nasir Kazmi and sung magically by Saiyyan Chaudhry. Thank you @zulqarnainfarooq88 for the work you do for exploring and archiving our culture. The piece uses over 3000 Austrian crystals applied by hand. FIRDAUS 2 Size: 100 cm × 100 cm Material: Digital drawn art printed on fine art paper with hand-applied Austrian Crystals Shot at @bickibossstudio Dop: @rashidsnap #zbr_creatives #firdaus2 #art #crystals #Dubaiartists

Sketchbook stashes 2015 till 2025 Rounding of a very very lazy last Sunday of 2025 by rummaging through sketchbooks and musings from the last 10 years. Grateful for what has been and slowly stepping into what's to come. Wishing all beauty and prosperity! #livein #dubaiwinters #nostalgia #lazysunday #art

Disclaimer: I am not against AI, in fact I use it quite often in my work. I am also not against digital art mediums, in fact a big fan of those. The conversation is about speed (of creativity, of consumption, of life in general), a conversation slowly gaining momentum around me and in the midst of it all I had been feeling... low. Now yes, with the current global scenario it is hard to remain chirpy in any case. However, something else has also been happening; my ability to wait, to create, to savor is thining out. This has made me question the current Human-to-Machine balance in our lives and if that is, or could slowly in the future, decrease our overall happiness? How? Through mass instant gratification. Why toil, work and enjoy the process when you can make something within 60 seconds with a prompt? Why even think of a prompt when you can create a prompt with a few words? Do we see a pattern here? Are we aeging back to being babies or are we super aeging into our 100s? Now what? Well that has been leading me to slow savoring in real life. Example here: drawing by hand once again without CTRL+Z and without 60 second prompt-to-image. Maybe it's time we found these pleasures in order to get out of our consumption and production cycles. To perhaps become concious beings so that the world can breath? So that we can breath. #zbr_creatives #art #dubai #slowlife

Excuse us for the hiatus as we were... errr... Roming A tight packed schedule of gelato, history, coffee, pizza, then more gelato and more history. It was busy, it was bustling and it IS beautiful! For all you history and architecture buffs, it's heaven on earth. Every single turn brings another monument in sight and then some more... and more. For the foodies, you may want to reconsider your plans because Rome will make you spend! The food is amazing and it is everywhere! Coffee lovers can kiss their sanity goodbye. And very important: for the introverts and the claustrophobes, the situation is tricky. The Centro Storico is very packed during day time and you will need to find spaces to relax. Here are a few tips: *Wear comfortable shoes and clothing. You'll be walking a lot. *Get a public transport card. The Red line connects major historical spots and then the rest you can manage by walk, tram and bus. *Take care of valuables and pack light. The tourist areas are crowded and though we remained safe, but always good to be vigilant. * Learn basic Italian. It's not just useful but also a gesture of respect and helps to connect with locals. *Try morning hours before 10 am for less crowd. *Find side streets for calmer and peaceful eateries/bars. *Spanish Steps, according to our research is the most calm area among the major destinations. Trevi Fountain and Colosseum are almost always crowded. *Have fun. #livein #rome #travel #gelato #shopping #ladolcevitaly

Did you know? A classic French croissant takes 3 days to make from scratch—laminated dough, endless folds, and a butter-to-flour love story. And that tiny shot of espresso? It carries the power of an 8oz coffee - minus the fluff. Together, they’re a morning ritual, a European postcard, a pause button in a rush-hour world. This is your sign to slow down, sip slowly, and savor every bite like it’s your first time in Paris. ✨ #LiveInMornings #CroissantAndCoffee #TimelessRituals #EspressoMoments #liveinthemoment #liveauthentic #food #europe #lifestyle #slowliving
