W(H)IP January-present

That’s a wrap on one of the busiest years of ZB Custom Design since the brand launched in 2011. A a blur of tiny shorts, crystal studs, impossible deadlines, and watching the work shine in stunning performances! Of the many stand out moments that I’m proud of in 2025, one particular full-circle memory will stay with me forever. When the brand launched in 2011, my first Custom Design job was crafting leather harnesses for Lady Gaga's ‘You & I’ video. It’s an origin story and ZB tale of lore as hardware was spray painted on the fire escape of my 5 story NYC walk-up for each full body harness made by hand over a marathon 36 hours straight. To circle back with Lady Gaga in 2025, fourteen years later is a wild milestone! A more personal aspect (and the most special) of 2025 was bringing my mom along to see the Custom creations live on Lady Gaga & her dancers at the Mayhem Ball, a night never to be forgotten!
