Over 12 million people in Sudan have been displaced from their homes, but their strength and resilience continue to inspire. “Ya Salam” is a tribute to those affected, to inspire hope, change, and solidarity during these challenging times. This song is a call to change, a call to compassion and a call to action for humanity. I pray for brighter days in Sudan and I can’t wait for the day we can finally return and rebuild.
While it’s still March I gotta give a huge shoutout to everyone who made my bday month so very special. Love to all my sisters and fam and everyone who has showed me love and sent me messages. It doesn’t go unnoticed and it truly means the world even though I’m still catching up on messages and texts. I took a social media hiatus for Ramadan and it was such a spiritual mental cleanse that I didn’t realize I needed. To another rotation around the sun and for God blessing me with life and lights that surround me 🌊💫💙 🙏🏾

Try to be intentional with the spaces I’m in especially with so much going on worldwide. Can’t lose sight of what matters and the mission. I always value the impact of music and art more than anything so this was definitely a beautiful time.
