Starting this next season, I’ve decided to include complimentary engagement sessions in all my wedding packages — and here’s why: I want to connect with my couples before the big day and give them a feel for what it’s like to be in front of my camera.
So many couples tell me they’ve never had professional photos done before, and that’s totally okay! I hear things like “We’re so awkward!” or “We’re stiff in front of the camera” all the time and honestly, that’s my favorite thing to hear. Because without fail, those same couples end up with the most genuine, joy-filled photos.
I truly believe your photos should feel like you - not overly posed or forced, but real and reflective of your relationship, quirks and all. Yes, I’ll do a little guiding and posing, but more than anything, I want you to feel comfortable, connected, and like you’re just having a great time together.

Jethro and Joy are the type of people you just know were meant for each other.
