@lojmasquerade gives me such an amazing drive to create and this is the first costume I custom built head to toe. From the kaftan to the staff to the crown, everything started with raw material (besides the antique King James bible). Lost in the forests of Appalachia for three days, I stumbled on this undeveloped roll and decided to see what was on it when I found my way out. There was a local legend of a skin walker cunning woman who used to dance with her sisters and weave chainmail from the iron in the creek bed. You can still hear them singing their enchantments on the whispering wind when the leaves change color and the toads entomb themselves in the mud.
