My first @iamthemountn experience was raw, calming, and a blunt reminder that becoming your best self isn’t easy by design. What Heidi did to create this event is an expression of her higher self in every way. I’m grateful to have expanded my culinary journey because of it. I Am The Mountn didn’t materialize because we wanted to add another event to our line up. It was born from the personal work both Heidi and I have committed to in search of our own higher purpose, personal renewal, and a desire to discover a more wholesome balance between family life, our careers, and our connection to the natural world - which for us is our chosen spiritual landscape. It is from this natural venue that our belief in the powers of what we can’t see stems & where we feel our ability to manifest our reality begins. If I’ve lost you at all, don’t worry. I may have lost myself in this conversation a few years ago. I have always believed in magic, and I’ve always felt a strong connection to the presence of invisible energy. Honestly, it’s creeped me out more than once - but what I’ve learned and honed in on through modalities like astrology, intuitive psychic work, bio-geometry, sound healing, strengthening Qi, and the work of an angel medium - is that until you slow down, disassociate yourself from what you think you know, and become open to the possibilities of how strong the powers that surround us truly are - you remain one step away from an existence your soul knows you’re capable of, but your mind has kept you from living. This is where the separation between a wellness retreat & a results driven workshop occurs. Let me be clear - I Am The Mountn does not fix you. This 4 day intensive experience breaks open your emotional road map, allowing you the space to be present with your personal vulnerabilities & fears, and walk away feeling equipped to build a stronger YOU moving forward. Even more importantly, you’ll leave knowing you can step back into this space whenever you need to reconnect or revisit a specific issue - because this work is never a once and done process. This event is about as real as it gets. I can’t wait for version 2.0. Photos @shannonchristinephoto

Stole a few hours together up Casa Blanca Canyon this morning. Patagonia’s Arizona Trail access is incredible & riding so well this spring. Santa Cruz County, Arizona has some outstanding trail. But what’s most impressive is our region’s potential for the future of multi-use single track development & leadership is not only seeing the value, they’re entering the conversation of how do we do this & what does a trail plan look like? Big plans in the making. In the meantime keep supporting bikes & coffee @patagoniabikesaz and the drinks are cold @patagonialumberco ✌️🍻⚡️ #ridebikeseatfood #pivotcycles

The kitchen @thegravelhouse is a sacred place for me. Maybe it’s like the major kitchens most chefs cut their teeth in, but for me it’s been a small house in the desert where we welcome guests from all over. 🏠 Trips come & trips go & this little straw bale kitchen keeps on pumping out the good stuff. The menus and ideas behind the meals have evolved, but the concept remains the same: we ride and explore Patagonia’s wild places by day & sit down together for a meal as the sun sets. 🌅 Arizona Gravel 2026 will forever be a memorable one & I’ve been serving food in this way (on & off) since 2008. Thank you to my team for a flawless week in the mountains - Heidi, Emily, Noe, Shan & Betz - Y’all are incredible. I’m grateful to have a renewed sense of myself in this kitchen ecosystem - especially since @thecyclistsmenu has a grand 2026/2027 calendar ahead. Anthony Moccia @rasputitsadirt - Thank you for welcoming us into the scene. Thank you for all your hard work in making the gravel community so special, worth gathering for, and setting the bar for what an event can bring to a rural community. Your impact will never be forgotten. You & Heidi and the entire Rasputitsa Team have always lead from your hearts. We’ve learned so much from you & will continue to learn from the work you made look so easy. Rest easy friend. Good vibes only & let peace be with the Moccia & Myers family’s. ⚡️

It’s @runthedaydreamer weekend! This event in its 2nd year is creating magic - bringing wonderful people to Patagonia, showcasing some of the Sky Islands best trail access, and slowly growing the resources surrounding Patagonia’s diverse outdoor recreational opportunities. We opened the Patagonia Lumber Co in 2021 to work towards the goals of building a healthy rural economy, while elevating the quality of life for local residents and visitors alike. This space, Patagonia’s downtown scene, this community, and these mountains are energetically unique & naturally inclined to offer a relaxed, welcoming experience. It’s 75 degrees all weekend, there’s 140 runners arriving today, live music all weekend & money being raised for Patagonia’s community recycling program ♻️ Cheers Yall. See you on the trail. #runthedaydreamer #arizonatrail #patagoniaaz Photos: @shannonchristinephoto

The conversation I never had with Bob Weir has been replaying in my head all week - maybe we’re having it now… Unsure of exactly what I would have said or how it would have even happened - A glimpse into my past or future being, as if we’ve shared a moment together. Something about your presence, Bob - the music, the community that surrounds it all, always felt like a connection from another universe - fun, simple, elevated, and pure. It was never a question of would I like to listen to this today. Rather, like so many, it became life’s playlist - sometimes in the background, comforting & in most cases, all encompassing, its message carving out a path forward. I received my very first Grateful Dead album (Live/Dead) at boarding school (1997) and to this day I’ll never forget how incredibly piercing the opening song was - Dark Star - I was hooked & kind of didn’t know why but the albums sound, flow, and purpose seemed to touch every inch of my nervous system - it elevated my soul. Two of my longer standing friends introduced me to the music that has defined my entire journey. There’s always been this thing about improvisational music, a well executed jam - it brings on a higher level of intimacy that offers a story for listeners to get lost or wrapped up in. Thank you Fayla & DeWolfe (Riceman too!) for this gift & thank you Bobby for continuing the musical experience that has changed the lives of those within this community. My musical interests have come and gone over the years, but it’s always found its way back to the Dead. I have to say, I feel Bobs expression of his music through bringing the Wolf Brothers together & the context each of those artists brought to that stage yet again was a magically woven musical impulse that gave us more to listen to, grab onto & get lost in. The composition perfectly balanced between the historical elements of Bobby’s career with intention of where he saw himself in the moment. It’s no wonder his departure from this universe will be forever remembered. Your journey has taught me a lot but I’m going to hold this quote closely- “Dedicate your life to a sense of purpose. Meditate. And work out.” @bobweir ✌️🌹⚡️

I’ve been thinking of a lot lately (what’s new 😆) but I’ve been incapable of translating it into something understandable, worth reading or that might make any sense. Here’s my best stab. I turned 41 on December 4th - not a huge birthday in the line up of milestone years. However, my 40th year is one I’ll never forget - it forced me to learn lessons I 1) had been putting off 2) didn’t think I’d have to really learn yet. So, here I am focused on what I thoughtfully crammed into 365 days - realizing I’m better and more equipped for my journey moving forward because of it all. Here’s to 41 years ⚡️ Next up is a quote I stumbled upon - “Do not let someone else’s chaos decide the temperature of your inner world.” - this is directly related to both my experiences throughout my 40th year & the work I’ve instilled into my journey & seasonal routines. Ayurvedic practice makes it pretty damn clear that you can’t love others until you love yourself : while stating that in finding a higher appreciation for your own being, you realize how important it is to observe how those around you need to be appreciated as well. Throughout my last 365 days I’ve existed in this space - having lost my connection to myself through life’s ebb & flow, stepping backwards to regain that connection to again soar forward & in a moment of releasing stagnant energy and replacing it with a renewed sense of self, I have shed another layer of skin on my own terms - in my own fashion - true to myself - relinquishing my soul from the needs or wants of others invading my personal vibration. ✨✌️ If any of this seems heady, far out, and thick - don’t worry, it is! I’m grateful for the inner circle of humans who know me to the core & have shown up this past year - this year of the snake 🐍 (talk about shedding skin!) I’m grateful for my girls - I love you both for your grounding & your light energy you bring to my life. This universe isn’t getting any less complicated - do only what you must to stay centered and balanced & if you miss a step, don’t fret, take a step backwards because you’ll be amazed at how it propels you forward with more force than you could have ever imagined. ⚡️

💫 Copper Comet 💫 @pivotcycles New color drop for the Vault - V4 of this adventurous gravel bike keeps getting more refined - designed in Arizona. I’m honored to guide on this bike around the globe. It moves effortlessly from Patagonia’s gravel roads to the dynamic tarmac of northeastern Italy & Slovenia. In what is an evolving, fast paced industry with dinosaur like characteristics, reminding me that slow is fast - I feel compelled to continue pushing the envelope in a small way within the gravel venue. At times, feeling like a boxer 🥊 - it’s encouraging to have Pivot’s leadership in our corner - believing in Heidi and I’s vision & commitment to fostering strength in community through recreational development in southern Arizona. Over the course of this past year, I’ve realized endurance is less about the miles you spend pedaling. Rather it’s the freedom movement provides in creating space for your mental, physical, and spiritual beings to find themselves in sync. That is what gravel and dirt road riding has shifted into for me - in a moment where I think we’re all reevaluating our connections to who we are as individuals & how Mother Nature plays such a key role in our existence, our bikes then become such vital tools in our journeys. Peace & Happy Holidays! #ridebikeseatfood #pivotcycles #visitarizona #spiritworld100
