y’all, it’s been one week since my short premiered on
@filmshortage ! the gratitude i feel for everyone involved in this project is immense! now, for the sappy stuff:
making a short post film school has been a huge goal of mine since graduating, and i truly would not have been able to do it without the support of my community. I can’t thank enough my parents for always believing in me and supporting my dreams, my partner craig who lifts me up and always encourages me to go after what i want (and who made this kickass poster art!!), my best friend aimee for being my creative soul sister, for producing and ading this film and for empowering me and inspiring me with her own filmmaking endeavors and including me in her multiple fantastic projects, notably her first feature
@cannibalmukbangfilm (now streaming 🤓),where i was so fortunate to meet an incredible array of creative forces that collaborated with me on this film! harrison, danny, jode, abby, james, d’ana, and matt i cannot thank you all enough for being the best crew a gal could ask for!!! to my post crew, sam, harrison (again!), donavan, abby, and mitch, thank you for helping me bring this film to life with color, sound, and an immersive score! my on-set cast, nancy, davis, eliza. wow. your performances blew me away. nancy and davis were the perfect sarah and ben, y’all are absolutely incredible actors and it was such a pleasure working with y’all!! and my sweet friend eliza, you were truly terrifying and so amazing to work with!!! thank you for getting down and dirty as a demon girlie!
todd, susan, and kersten, thank you for letting me use your amazing video performances and everyone else that provided me video and audio contributions to build the tube top algorithm (awesome graphics for tube top created by laura!!!) the many musical contributions from some of my favorite artists, LOTION, Wormy, To be sure, BUGS, Sky Adler, and Balistic Man!
