an honor and a privilege of a lifetime. helping build the moments to lead up to the retirement of Chicago’s very own, Derrick Rose, will forever be in my core memories.
couldn’t be more proud to work with such incredible talent. I always say, “I work with the best in the business” and it really showed this weekend.
this was for Chicago. 🌹
this summer was a 10/10
it was the reset I needed for years.
still worked super hard, found new hobbies in movement, retapped into my creative outlets, sang at the top of my lungs, never stopped eating good food, woke up early, stayed out late and was intentional with each moment.
take your dog to work day.
not officially but he loves audition season so he had to visit 😄

it surely was an honor to surprise him and his son in the Bulls locker room with custom jerseys alongside some of my Filipino Bulls teammates.

nearly a week after #BullsFest and mostly recovered. 😅🏀
When the word 'inaugural' is in front of anything you're working on, it's fair to say that it's a much larger undertaking than you could probably foresee. Needless to say, it sure wasn’t easy. After many months of hard work, short of sleep nights, permit filing and plenty of pivoting we were able to create a very special experience for our city.
To think, one year ago, I pivoted back to my original career roots in events and I wouldn’t have imagined that I would have had this large of a hand in such an impactful event.
Very proud of all of those involved. It was truly a pleasure. We did the damn thing.
pinch me we’re in the playoffs. 👀🔴
tough home games but grateful to experience playoffs for the first time. it’s still not over and little 7 year old Zaida couldn’t be more happy for 31 year old Zaida. (swipe for the bowl cut)

I finished my 3rd marathon today. And this race was particularly important. I had signed up during a time I was trying to bring myself back up from a tough place. When I had realized this race was going to be on #WorldMentalHealthDay I decided to dedicate this race to me. For my 2016 race I dedicated each mile to a person in my life but this time it was important to refocus on myself.
If you asked me a year ago if I could imagine being this happy again. The answer would be no. I was struggling with my mental health and I was not okay.
This all may be an overshare but I think it’s important to talk about mental health and find people who will support you when you say you’re not okay.
So I thank each person in my life who responded when I asked for help. Because of you… I was able to run my fastest marathon yet.
🏃🏻♀️🏅💪🏼
