Crazy backstory - I wasn’t even booked on that episode until the night before. I had just a few hours to pick the song, edit the track, come up w the concept, and choreograph it late into the night—then show up at crack of dawn for on camera rehearsal.
This dance ended up being nominated for an Emmy. Just goes to show: trust your first instinct, don’t overthink it… and if you’re lucky to have two dancers like that, magic happens fast. #bts included of the rehearsal process. That show was so intense!
