I am one of the rare, oddball Americans who loves Vegemite.
I had a Kiwi girlfriend who loved it (Not Marmite...I know...) and kept a jar at my place. She taught me how to eat it and I developed a taste for it.
Congrats to @shintaro_kago for TWO Eisner Award nominations for BRAIN DAMAGE! And thanks to @fantagraphics for having the vision to bring Kago sensei's work into English!

Had an amazing time at the @morikamimuseum for my lecture on A Brief History of Yokai. A lot of people bought tickets to come out to see me, and I signed a lot of books!
I really enjoy the varied aspects of my career. Always interesting to move between different spaces and see who reacts to what. This was an audience where everyone knew who Hokusai was but no one had heard of Demon Slayer!
Highly recommend the museum and gardens if you get the chance to visit!
The Morikami Japanese Gardens are beautiful and live up to their reputation. A HUGE park of gardens acting like a time voyage as you move from Heian style gardens, to Muromachi, to Edo, and finally Modern.
An impressive bonsai collection as well. I spent several hours here and loved every minute.
