It’s also a space for community building where they can fuse art, music, fashion, and politics with their own hands to nurture a new culture and shape the Tokyo that the next generation wants to call home. This time, we’re hosting a special collaboration with WAIFU Rave and its afterparty, which took place last Saturday at Kinone Pension in Narita. We’re excited to welcome guest artists COSMIC CAZ, a queer artist from London, and SHIZKA, who seamlessly moves from ambient sounds to heavy bass music. For the decor, ZØ’s resident artists BIKO & KENNY will transform the venue as always—bringing their signature style into a new space. As with every ZØ event, tattooing will be available by current art university students, with Sasegi Tattoo offering oriental-style designs that are especially popular among international guests. If you missed the rave last weekend and are feeling the FOMO, or if you usually can’t make it to ZO on weekdays, be sure to join us this Saturday at R Lounge! 成田のレイブに来てくれた皆様、一緒にパーティーを支えてくれたスタッフの皆様、本当にありがとうございました！
昨年 @waifu_party での初めての木の根ペンションのレイブは映画の撮影の為に行ったもので、正直100％私がやりたかったキュレーションができませんでしたが、今回は出演者も、タイムテーブルも演出もほぼ私の思い通りにする事ができ、直前でPAさんが急に変更になったり、ライブやパフォーマンスタイムが変更になったりしましたが、結局変わったことで全て良い方向に流れ、集まってきてくれたボランティアスタッフさん達やお客さんの質の良さ、大雨からの晴天も含め、自分の強運を改めて実感しています。そして、この「強運」はただの運ではなく、今までWAIFUメンバーでコツコツと積み上げてきたことによる自分達で掴み取った「運」ではないかと自負しています。
@kotono.in.midnight をはじめいつもいつもWAIFUを支えてくれているボランティアの皆様、特に今回のレイブのために泊まり込んで、最後の最後まで手伝っていただいた @bvtterf1yeffect @whatyoungparkindworld.jp には本当に感謝しかないです。 木の根の @alumonde_tribes の皆様をはじめ @oimoya__takechang 、関わって頂いた皆様、本当にありがとうございました🫶🫶❤️❤️ そんな、今回の縁の下の力持ちのボランティアスタッフの2人 @kotono.in.midnight と @bvtterf1yeffect 、大好きな @vi0let4z と急にも関わらず、私の希望通りエージェントを通すことなくローカルDJと同じく直接「人と人」としてのやり取りで快くDJを引き受けていただいた @cosmic.caz を招いてのアフターパーティーを感謝の気持ちを込めて @z_generation_0 でやります！！
デコは昨年からZØ をいつも一緒に盛り上げてくれ、今回の木の根でも手伝っていただいた @biko_tokyo1 & @kenny005_ 。

It’s also a space for community building where they fuse art, music, fashion, and politics with their own hands, nurturing new culture and shaping the Tokyo the next generation wants to live in. 
Japan’s first female prime minister has taken office, and it’s not exactly cause for celebration, and the world increasingly feels like a harder place to live. Amidst this, we’ve invited young DJs from around the globe as our guests! Let’s all have fun and blow away xenophobia together!

The food is all homemade and vegan with no additives, with an emphasis on ingredients. The elaborate dishes prepared by a Japanese chef will be available for 1700 yen, including miso soup and rice (this is available from 19:30 at front bar). Organizers are WAIFU, a pioneer of queer femme parties in Tokyo, and representatives of SLICK, a sex positive party.
