3:30 was in my sights… 32km & the saxophones began😅
Marathon debut at the London Marathon. Months of graft since December. Early mornings, long runs, controlled dieting… all building to towards April 26th.
Race day. My birthday. Vibes high.
Locked in with the 3:30 pacer - it all looked good.
I got too excited.
By 38km, both legs cramping. Had to stop twice.
No perfect race. No excuses.
3:35 finish.
Chicago Marathon in 5 months. We go again with 3:20 the goal…

Started in the Motherland.
Ending in the House of Allah.
Ramadan + marathon training wasn’t a challenge… it was fuel.
Just under 700km logged already.
