Exploring the silent courtyards of Fatehpur Sikri, where red sandstone slowly shifts in color under the North Indian sun. The atmosphere carried the same warm spices and dry intensity I found in An Unseen by @pesade_official .

Travel has always felt deeply personal to me. It is not only about reaching a destination, but about the emotions, encounters, and memories collected along the way. Long before borders and cities, people were already moving, following seasons, landscapes, scents, and stories. I like to think travel awakens something ancient in us. Scented Notes, India is my personal travel diary through the world of fragrance making, an exploration made together with @pesade_official , guided by culture, craft, and the people behind it. Filmed in Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh, the journey follows roses, jasmine, vetiver, and other local flora as they are transformed into attars. Beyond perfume, this journey was also about India itself: its warmth, colors, generosity, joyful chaos, and all the encounters that shaped the experience. More than a documentation of fragrance making, it became a reflection on movement, memory, and the invisible traces that scents can carry across time and places.

An interesting book introducing the way local Tibetans dress, documenting the richness of traditional garments, patterns and silhouettes through everyday life and cultural identity. Tibet Style, photography by Yann Romain, text by Hippolyte Romain. Published by Flammarion in 2006.

Today I had the immense privilege of visiting the atelier of @dogunovastudio in Ota, Gunma. A family tradition where the knowledge of making Haniwa and Dogu has been passed down through generations. Rooted in Japanese craftsmanship while embracing a contemporary perspective, the studio continues to preserve ancestral techniques and sustain the spirit and knowledge born from Japanese craft traditions.

Summer with the Nike Free Rift Sandal, first released in 2015. A hybrid between the original Rift silhouette and Nike’s Free technology, blending the comfort of a sandal with the flexibility of a barefoot shoe. A great alternative to my usual summer footwear.

A place I had been wanting to visit for a long time. Takamatsu City Hall, designed by Kenzo Tange in 1958. A beautiful piece of postwar Japanese modernism, with furniture by Isamu Kenmochi and a ceramic mural by Genichiro Inokuma. There is also a subtle note of Le Corbusier in his work, as Tange studied under Kunio Maekawa, the Japanese architect who worked directly in Le Corbusier’s Paris office. Public architecture at its best.
