The Emmy Awards in New York with @andrew_chin81 was the gift I never saw coming. The time spent in this city helped me reconnect to the power of my dreams. The Children’s and Family Emmys ceremony was a reminder of the importance of kindness to all. That all children deserve safety and love. I rehearsed for weeks with my snowboard boots and a weighted vest on to get used the added weight, and awkwardness of my costume. No pee breaks, no removal of makeup. I blended and drank my lunch. #fullcommitment . Some of the longest days I’ve ever had on set…4-5 hours in make up to start, 12hr+ shooting, then 2hrs+ to get out of makeup.
