What a special thing to open up and activate hundreds of people with qigong, some flutes, and an angelic harmonic serenade followed by this collective vocal toning as we all prepared for an otherworldly journey with Snow Raven and our dance fam 🪶🫂🌏🌌🪽
This is a moment where we had split the crowd into two sections, being playful with the loop I created on my RC-505... grateful, honored, and humble

Imagine, someone/people in your bloodlines/lineages dreamed of you, hoped for you, prayed for you, and invested in the future; molded their lives to create space, an atmosphere, the tools so you can do what you came here to do; to be what the future is becoming.
A living library and a codex of memories.
This is sustained by every person, every song, every gathering, meal, every chapter, every lesson... every choice reflected in the future.
In many ancient traditions, the elders/parents took great honor and gratitude for their children choosing them. It takes a warriors spirit to choose these times and there must be something in the future because the children keep coming.
Take a moment, close your eyes, seed the mind in the earth that is your heart.
The blood in your veins and the soil of the land is one in the same. The spirits of your vessel drawn from the gene pools of ecosystems that shapes (r)evolution. We do not see with only our eyes so let us open this vessels vision, let it pour like waterfalls making your prayers a bridge between blood and land. With body and body. From body to body. When I look into the flowers, I look into my ancestors.
The low guttural pronunciation and pitches I'm sharing in this reel resonant with the blood and muscles. The binaural tonal singing creates coherence in the hemispheres of the brain, the brain-heart axis, and stimulates the pineal and pituitary glands.

One of the communities that hit home for me is @dance.beyond and @ecstaticdancenyc . Im looking forward to reconnecting with the land at Camp Timber Trails, Tolland, MA ⛰️🌳 @camptimbertrails and the people who make this dance so alive in its magic of gathering on this sacred land, inviting the beautiful energy of remembrance to our hearts.

Embracing the journey of life is an acceptance of uncertainties and certainty of events. Knowing the future could stop you from living fully or it can welcome empathy as your guide to see yourself in all the moments that only you can experience. The moments that want to love through your eyes and heart. If a moment was a person, how loved a moment can be that you are there to witness and celebrate who it is for what it is and where it takes place.

Having moved through the depths of these energies, they are able to guide from an embodied place.
