YtooK008 Tributaries is the third album released by Tidal Pool. It contains both vulnerable solo saxophone explorations and immersive ambient soundscape. ‘For Dene’ is a song for my Gran. She was a very important person in my life and imparted many lessons that she gleaned from her life experience. I am forever grateful for this and I hope this song can honour her. This rendition was recorded with a cassette tape voice recorder right after the song’s conception. ‘Microcosm’ is inspired from the awe that arises from looking deep into the little things. I tried to capture the feeling of getting lost in the worlds contained in the pools left by the cyclical tides of coastal waters. Pools teeming with life and textural abundance. YtooK007 I’m very happy to have @madamsadsad come out on You’re too Kind. This is why I do what I do. Support local artists. ‘Music album documenting my vocal changes. So proud soo so proud. Hardest and coolest album ever done. Id say headphones is best way to listen. The EQ crazy. The EQ like I did not know how to use the 4 track first 8 songs but. Good thing ill forget everything l’ve learned cause it was mostly intuition anyway. “This Feels like how I should ride a bike so I’ll keep going” but next year l’m like no idea what this hand break does. The meetups and careful planning for live floor improv. Spacing it out for t voice. Not that many months of secondary layers mixing producing and sampling. Force wrapping it up in may. Worked with so much trashed takes and demos. So huge. I think making music on a budget is so huge. With disabilities. Idk just creating within my limits has always worked well for me. So exited to start next project. I have like 5 loaded but will b doing world stuff. Her self-titled EP consists of 4 offerings rooted in lo-fi recording and experimental songwriting. In a spirit reflective of her works as a visual artist, each piece blends hollowly intimate performances with obscure and ethereal sonic gestures. Blending folk, ambient, slowcore and shoegaze elements, this debut collection is strung together by a deeply personal sensibility that always feels slightly out of reach.

With creative outlets ranging from musical endeavours (Ex: Wet Makeup, Get Off The Cop, Lizzy Boredom, Banananananana, Human Nun), collage art, and amazing hand painted t-shirts.
