This omgsoamazingstunning arm piece started a couple of months ago when Sascha asked me to make a beetle trail for her arm. Her idea was to make a trail that would linger around her arm. The rest was up to me, she said. As I just left for France that time, I had the time to get fully immersed in nature and hikes, finding a lot of little creatures and stunning textures on my daily walks.
The idea of Sascha grew in my head, and having tried out different versions we settled down for the one we both were really happy about, collaging it together on her arm and adding little extra elements where needed on the day of tattooing. The trail consist of different abstract ‘dotted’ structures that dance around Sascha’s arm.

I am really happy with this day of working; it gave me a lot of freedom but at the same time a clear direction. I would love to do more of this kind of projects. You are always welcome to pitch your ideas to me.

AAAH FINALLY!!!! one of my many newyears resolutions (I think I have at least 20) was to finish this video. 😅
it’s another “hiking crossover tattooartist” and i structured it this time a little different; giving some tips how to prep and what to expect when hiking.
This video focussed specifically on the Fisherman’s trail in the southwest of Portugal, but most of them are useful for any hiking and camping trip you would wanna do.
