6 riders, 2 large RVs and as many boards as we could take with us. The goal was simple: skate the most legendary spots in California, find new ones and enjoy the ride in between. We drove along more than 1100 miles, slept in the most random spots, ate as many tacos as we could and saw some of the most beautiful landscapes we have ever seen

Over the past few years, the Japanese surfskate scene has grown massively, with more riders, events, brands, and creative communities pushing the culture forward. From the streets of Tokyo to the coastal roads of Miyazaki, surfskating in Japan has developed its own unique style.
One of the riders helping shape that generation is @shotaro._.yamaguchi . Known for his stylish street lines, ditch skating, and creative visuals, Shotaro represents the artistic and free-flowing side of Japanese surfskating.
