New Campus, New Growth 📝
In the fall of 2025, @franklin_classical_school officially moved into its new home, located in the heart of the Cool Springs area of Franklin. “The mission of Franklin Classical School is to raise the next generation of Christian leaders,” says Tom Carson, Headmaster of FCS. “It is tremendously exciting to now have a beautiful new home in which to grow and carry on that wonderful mission. We would love for you to come visit our campus and experience this new era at FCS.”

Hold Your Horses 🐴
The Franklin Rodeo, proudly produced by @franklinnoonrotary , is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. Since 1949, the rodeo has brought cowboys and cowgirls from around the world to Williamson County.
Last night, the YOUR Williamson team had the opportunity to volunteer at the rodeo for their "Tough Enough to Wear Pink" night.
You have two days left to catch the @franklinrodeo , May 15th & 16th. Grab your tickets and learn more online at franklinrodeo.com.
Karen LaMonte 🕊️
American artist Karen LaMonte is renowned for her ethereal dress sculptures, which explore the interplay of drapery, light and the absence of the female form. The hauntingly beautiful hollow garments with their delicate folds and precise details reveal both presence and mystery. Created in glass and metal, they capture fleeting moments of stillness while reflecting and refracting light, illuminating the space around them.
Learn more about these incredible works in our latest issue or through the link in bio. Karen LaMonte's work will be on display at @cheekwood through May 31. Learn more about the exhibit at cheekwood.org.
75 Years of Tradition 🤠
Since 1949, the @franklinrodeo has returned to Williamson County every spring, bringing top-tier cowboys and cowgirls to Franklin’s stomping grounds. This weekend, the Franklin Rodeo will be held on May 14th-16th, showcasing time-honored events such as bull riding, calf roping, barrel racing and bareback riding.

Yesterday was the Third Annual Ladies of Distinction: Iconic Women of Williamson event! 🌸
Each year, YOUR Williamson has the privilege of celebrating a group of extraordinary women whose lives reflect the very best of our community. These are women who give generously of their time, talent and hearts; often behind the scenes, rarely asking for recognition. They are leaders, mentors, caregivers, creatives, advocates, visionaries - and their impact is undeniable.
In our latest issue, you can read about each of these iconic women and the good they've done for our community. See the full article in print or through the link in bio.
Your Pup's Time to Shine 🦴
Another Tails of Franklin book is in the works! The first edition was released by @mistywestebbephotography in February and starred many of your favorite furry friends in Williamson County.
After raising over $40,500 for animals in need through the first book’s efforts, Misty Westebbe Photography is working on the second edition now and taking reservations for photo shoots.
Applications for the 2026 project are currently underway, with sessions taking place over the coming months. To learn more about signing up, visit the link in bio.

The "Rite of Spring" 🏆
Steeplechase is here in Middle Tennessee! Ladies, grab your fascinators while the gentlemen grab their seersucker. Saturday, May 9th, is the 85th Anniversary of the Iroquois Steeplechase, a world-class horse race benefiting Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt and other local community non-profits.
Back in 1977, Dwight Hall took home the trophy and has served as the race chair since 2008.

A Bunch of Bruschetta 🍓
Stef Gorman, owner of @forkofthesouth , The Southern Tea Room and Gathering, believes that some of life’s best moments happen around a table.
For the Spring edition of YOUR Williamson, Stef featured bruschetta two ways - a classic tomato version that’s fresh and timeless, and a mixed berry option that brings a bright, slightly sweet Southern twist. And because every gathering deserves something to sip, she's included one of her favorite refreshing drinks to round it all out.
