Today, that same child recites Gurbani, takes part in divans and speaks with love for Guru Sahib. The anger that once consumed him is slowly being replaced with peace, discipline and purpose through Sikhi and sangat.

Every month, Your Seva supports over 140 families with basic food and household provisions through the Ration Pani Project.

A Hindu family supported during Panjab Floods
The Sikh community has always been taught to recognise the entire human race as one. During the Panjab floods, your support allowed Your Seva to stand beside families from all backgrounds during their time of hardship.
One Hindu family we supported showed a deeply touching gesture of appreciation during the Shaheedi Divas of the Sahibzade by choosing to sleep on the floor in remembrance of their sacrifices. It was never expected, as seva should always remain unconditional, but it was a beautiful reminder of how compassion, respect and humanity can bring people together beyond any differences.

Tears of Relief: Rebuilding Hope After the Panjab Floods 🙏🏽
Pushpa Rani and her family were already living through severe gareebi and hardship before the devastating Panjab floods destroyed their home. Pushpa Rani herself is blind, and the family also cares for a disabled member within the household, making daily life an ongoing struggle even before the floods took away what little they had.
When the floods damaged their family home, they were left with almost no hope of ever rebuilding it. Speaking through tears, Pushpa Rani explained that without the support of the Sangat and the donations raised through Your Seva, they would never have been able to restore their house. Today, those same tears are tears of relief and gratitude as the family once again has a safe and secure home.
Through your donations, Your Seva has helped refurbish and rebuild their family home, carrying out the repairs and improvements needed to restore dignity, safety and stability back into their lives.
This is a Hindu family, but Sikhs will forever stand to serve humanity without conditions. Our Guru’s teachings were never limited by religion, caste or background. Where there is suffering, there must be seva.
To every donor who supported the Panjab Floods Seva, we want you to know that every penny raised has gone directly towards rebuilding homes, restoring lives and helping struggling families recover from devastation. An elderly Bapu ji, with very limited income, was left struggling after his home was damaged in the floods.
