Our five-year plan (2024-2029) for the #RoyalDocks sets out the Mayor of London's vision for unlocking the full potential of the area with a multi-billion-pound regeneration programme. It will deliver thousands of new homes and jobs and create a new economic powerhouse for the capital.
The Royal Docks is one of the largest regeneration areas in London, with seven significant developments being brought forward across 175 hectares of public land belonging to the Greater London Authority representing a mix of residential, commercial, and industrial developments.
Approximately £5bn of investment is planned for the area over the next 20 years.

The programme of 10+ free events across the month will explore the LFA theme of belonging featuring art trails, tours of iconic buildings and hands on family workshops.

🌟 We were delighted to welcome so many partners to our Royal Docks Networking Forum earlier today at Compressor House, showcasing what's coming for 2026 and beyond. 🌟
We heard from keynote speakers including Rokhsana Fiaz, Tom Copley, Daniel Bridge, Steve Harrington, Jess Wallis and more who shared bold visions for sustainable and inclusive growth and investment in the #RoyalDocks.
Features of the keynotes included delivering affordable homes to Silvertown, plans for the largest floating destination in London as well as Smithfield & Billingsgate Market's proposed move to the Royal Docks.
A huge thank you to all attendees, speakers, partners. This year is sure to be an exciting one in the Royal Docks and we look forward to sharing (and delivering!) more over the coming months.

Royal Docks Waterways has published a new vision for Royal Victoria Dock West and is inviting feedback from local residents, community groups and stakeholders.
The vision sets out plans to bring people, nature and water closer together - creating a more welcoming waterspace where Londoners can spend time outdoors, enjoy the dock, and reconnect with the water.
Three priority projects will shape the first phase of delivery:

To support the engagement process, the team is hosting a mix of online and in-person events - including some taking place on the water - offering plenty of opportunities to get involved.
