Signs you’re making progress in Physio…
Progress is not just about reduced pain, it’s an element, but there’s so much more that can be a sign of progress

I was never a textbook person for consuming information…😬
Studying anatomy as a physiotherapist is about more than memorising muscles and bones, it’s about truly understanding how the body moves, adapts, and heals. Every structure you learn connects to real people, real injuries, and real recovery journeys.
Each step builds the knowledge and confidence needed to assess, treat, and support patients effectively. It’s challenging, but incredibly rewarding.
Do you remember your muscle attachments 😉😅

Injuries rarely come out of nowhere 😬
They usually start as small, easy-to-ignore signals your body sends when it’s not coping with the load.
That slight niggle.
A bit of stiffness.
Something that just doesn’t feel quite right
1️⃣A niggle that doesn’t go away
2️⃣It feels fine at rest but flares up with load
3️⃣The same area keeps getting tight no matter what you do
4️⃣Morning stiffness
5️⃣Feeling more fatigue post-training compared to normal
On their own, these might not seem like a big deal.
But together? They’re often the first sign something isn’t right.
Ignore them… and you risk time out.
Address them early… and you stay consistent.
If you’re noticing a few of these creeping in, it might be time to get it checked 👍
