Your Friends In Hell

Thank you to @jrbimage for creating this featurette with content from the fifth annual Halfoween! We're so grateful for this opportunity to show the people what Halfoween is and what makes it so special. Remember folks, there's always room for more Friends (in hell)! We can't recommend working with Jeff enough, he also made our Paper Ghosts recording and he's great.

Porchfest! One of our absolute favorite days of the year. We're thrilled to get this chill follow up to last week's Halfoween--none of y'all are paying a ticket fee this time, so we're gonna go ahead and get weird with it. Come see us play a bunch of originals, some covers, crack open an ice cold tube-man, maybe a few surprises. It's gonna be a great day with friends here in Somerville, so come on down, right off the Porter square T station! We'll start between 2 and 2:30 and play for a good long while, so pop on by!

Thank you to everyone who made Halfoween so special--it was our highest attended and, dare we say, most fun Halfoween yet, and we couldn't be more thrilled to be associated with such kind and talented people. We were amazed by the creative genius of @coffin_salesman giving us a brooding, captivating, and beautiful performance. We laughed and cheered for @thoumercilessgraves dropping new covers and a new sea beast into their already amazing act. We were in awe, as always, at the amazing @alecsull , and honored to share a stage for a few songs together. We're so grateful for Heather at @tinyoakbooking for helping put it together and providing great sound as always. And forever in debt to the wonderful folks at the @rockwellthtr for giving us their one-of-a-kind and much beloved space. Thanks of course to @suddenlyseymour923 for keeping it all together, and to @jrbimage for these fantastic shots! And thank you of course to our performers, @pantsbuster @doloressweetburlesque and @etbarnum.king for sharing your talents with us on our spooky little songs. But thanks most of all to all of you for coming out, playing games, cheering and laughing, and just being a great community of people who support local arts. None of it would matter without you. Aria of @coffin_salesman is going to be weaving some strangeness into the very fabric of Halfoween, the way only he can, and you're not gonna want to miss it. It wouldn't be Halfoween without @thoumercilessgraves 🪸 Drawing inspiration from classic maritime and gothic folk music, and Growler’s childhood growing up on a sailboat in the North Atlantic, Thou Merciless Graves seeks to tell stories of the horrors and wonders of the ocean with doomy synths, resonant string drones, unconventional guitar stylings and emotional, powerful vocals meant to be heard over the waves. Come see TMG do what they do best May 2nd for Halfoween, only at @rockwellthtr
