When asked about her journey, Jocelyn Ademiluyi, CEO @honeycedarsevents had this to say ,
" My journey didn’t begin with a plan to become an event planner or even to study English. In fact, for many years, I dreamed of studying math—thank goodness I didn’t, because, looking back, I realized my head wasn’t as good with numbers as I thought in secondary school. Of course, now, even as a project manager, I still rely on calculations and dimensions—but in a way that blends logic with creativity. Studying English Education gave me the ability to teach, guide, and organize, and that natural aptitude for coordination became a cornerstone of my career. Over time, as I grew in event management, businesses began inviting me to lead larger transformations. From rebranding a perfume business expanding from one store to three, to managing the setup of a TV station, each project confirmed that I was meant to bridge the worlds of events and strategic project leadership. That’s why I chose to deepen my skills by completing a Master’s in Project Management, marrying precision with creativity in every project I touch. "
