This month, we celebrate their wisdom, their resilience, and their legacy of caring for themselves and their communities on their own terms.
Check in on an elder. Ask them a question you've never asked before. Let them know they are seen, valued, and loved.

On May 12, 2026, PCOS was officially renamed PMOS: Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome. A more accurate name. Better care. Real change.
The old name suggested cysts but many of us don't have them. That one word caused stigma, confusion, and delayed diagnoses for far too long.
PMOS recognizes what we always knew: this is a whole-body condition affecting metabolic, hormonal, reproductive, dermatological, and psychological health.
