19 years ago I was throwing parties at a place called Mood Lounge in Union NJ. The party was doing so well one of the owners of Abyss/Deko in Sayreville asked his manager and his head promoter to come out to Union to come check it out. They then pulled me to the side and said the owner by the name of KOSTA would like for me to come down and have a meeting with him. I was honored and accepted the invitation to meet. When we met in his office he said he heard what I was doing in Union and wanted me to be a part of Abyss/Deko family offering me a weekly position. I thanked him, and promised I wouldn’t let him down. I eventually promoted at both clubs for about 3 years before they eventually closed. But it only took those 3 years to make me the person I am today. The hospitality I strive to provide, the opportunities given to me, the big stages i was able to stand on, the household name that was created all came from the leadership and guidance KOSTA provided to me. And it did not stop there…After abyss/Deko closed they took over The Cavalier/Mister East.. And he had me join him there for a few more years. Right before they sold it 2 years ago he made sure the new owners kept me on board, assuring my place would always be secure. Even not working together anymore he still checked on me, ask me how things were. Kosta you were really a great friend to me. You gave me my first big opportunity. If it was not for you, I can wholeheartedly and unequivocally say I would not be here today, doing what I do, the person I am in this industry if it was not for you. I legit owe you everything. And I never hesitated to let you know that you were and will forever be the greatest person I have ever worked for and alongside. Your light and energy can never be duplicated. You were the epitome of a host, gentleman, businessman, owner and a leader. You trusted and believed in me. You invited me to be a part of your Abyss & Deko family. A family I still have today. 10.2 🎈 Every year I say the love I get is overwhelming, but this time I truly mean it, y’all really outdid yourselves. From social posts to DMs, texts, calls from in-state, out-of-state, and even prison calls, my heart is overflowing with gratitude. To my village who showed up last night, whether it was just to buy me a drink, give me a hug, looked out for me when I passed my drinking limit, helping me to my car after I drunkenly sprained my ankle, put me in the back seat of my car and made sure I got home safe. I love you all with my whole heart. Thank you for making me feel so loved and appreciated. ❤️

If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years and that I’d constantly remind my younger self of if I could is to stay true to self. People will respect you more when you aren’t trying to be someone who you’re not. I’m flawed, my attitude sucks at times and I can be super moody. Those are the only things I hope I can change as I embrace this new chapter. But my heart is pure, my intentions are always good, I love on those that love on me and I’m a God fearing man. I know I ain’t perfect but I try to live my life the right way and never hesitating to do right by others. Can’t expect people to do what I would do or to be like me cause they aren’t meant to. I am who I am and everyone else will be who they will be. I’m just glad God hasn’t given up on me and he still has his hands on me. Thank you everyone for all the love and the birthday wishes. I genuinely love you all. ❤️🎈
