Did you know you can grow Wasabi in the UK? Up for a challenge that yields very satisfying and tasty results? 🌱
Wasabi is a spicy horseradish known to accompany a variety of Japanese dishes, such as Sushi! And yes, it can be grown right here in the UK!
Wasabi has specific requirements and a long growing time, so it's definitely a labor of love but is well worth it. We recommend planting Wasabi in the cooler months, ideally between September and April to provide ample humidity and moisture levels to encourage growth. We also recommend planting in a very well protected area, ideally by a wall, under a tree, or even by a pond! A pond will help with the humidity levels.

Photinia Fraseri are evergreen shrubs with leaves ranging from bright red to dark green. In the spring, they bloom in clusters of milky white flowers!
They enjoy a full sun or partial shade position, sheltered away from strong winds which can scorch their leaves. While they are not native to the UK, they thrive in our coastal environment and are quite hardy!
