One room. 20 schools. A shared commitment to reimagining education.
Yesterday, we brought together our Entrepreneurial Schools Project cohort from every state and territory for our first in-person professional learning day at EY in Sydney!
Led by our Project Director, Dr Renae Jones, alongside Tom Griffith and Sa Danh from Seaton High School in South Australia, the day focused on what it really takes to build entrepreneurial schools that prepare young people for a changing world.
The cohort explored the project’s four-pillar model, identified the priorities they’ll take back into their school improvement plans, and began shaping a shared national Why statement:
“We will reimagine education through learning that is active, connected and grounded in the real world, where students learn through curiosity, collaboration, creativity and play.
In classrooms that embrace challenge and the messiness of learning, students and educators will be empowered to think and act courageously, take positive risks, build resilience and adapt in an ever-changing world.
Through entrepreneurial ways of thinking and authentic partnerships with community and industry, learning will be meaningful, foster a strong sense of belonging and possibility, and empower young people to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.”
This two-year, fully funded project is made possible thanks to support from the Vincent Fairfax Family Foundation (VFFF), delivered in partnership with the Australian Secondary Principals’ Association (ASPA) and Young Change Agents.
Today, the same cohort joins more than 100 educators and industry leaders at the E3xIndustry Unconference. We’ll be sharing more on that soon!

What would Australia look like if every young person had the skills to build peace in their community?
From tackling misinformation and bullying to strengthening cultural understanding and inclusion, young people have the potential to become powerful change agents. But they need opportunities, tools and support to turn that potential into action.
That’s why we’re excited to open up entries into our Peacebuilding National Youth Design Challenge in partnership with the Rotary Club of Balwyn.
This national challenge empowers young people to design real solutions that strengthen peace, empathy and understanding in their schools and communities.
Students will explore real-world issues and create ideas that foster connection and understanding. They'll then enter their ideas into the national competition, and we'll showcase the finalists and winners in November 2026!
We provide all the resources to take part online or in the classroom, with the option of educator-led or Young Change Agents-led workshops.
So if you’re an educator, parent or guardian, or know a young person who would love to get involved, check out the challenge via link in our bio!
