Carmel firefighters battled a blaze in a Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation storage and maintenance building shortly before 6 p.m. May 13. First responders saw “a significant fire column” as they neared the scene in the 1400 block of E. 116th Street, according to Carmel Fire Department spokesperson Tim Griffin.

A narcotics investigation that started in March has resulted in the seizure of more than 200 pounds of marijuana, thousands of THC cartridges, and a firearm. Fishers Police Department detectives identified two suspects after observing a Snapchat profile advertising the sale of narcotics. The suspects were intercepted on I-69 and now face preliminary felony charges for dealing in marijuana.
