Official announcement video for Yoru and its very first open recruitment challenge. Yoru is a new established editing team, hoping to provide the best visual artistry content. We wish to inspire and introduce more and more people to the editing community, whilst we still can.
Information about the Open Recruitment Challenge:
Stage 1 (Open-Qualifiers, 01.01.23 - 15.01.23):
To enter this stage, you just have to comment your discord username with the hashtag number or any other social media platform where we can inform you of qualifying for the next stage or not. The Judging/Reviewing Team will be going through every single comment on this video and review your account/channel/edits by account activity, creativity, mastery of software (skills as an editor) and future potential. We will shortly inform you with a direct message, if you do qualify for the next stage. And also there are no restrictions whatsoever (e.g. Editing Platform, etc.)
Conference Day (15.01.23 - 16.01.23):
Preparation/Discussion Day for Stage 2.
Stage 2 (MEP Recruitment, 17.01.23 - 02.02.23):
Selected editors will be split up in groups of 4, making a mini MEP to get accepted in Yoru. The Reviewing Team won’t be strictly judging the individual skill in a part, but rather the entirety of the MEP itself (e.g. flow, creativity, etc.), this eliminates any lacking of proper communication with others, since the groups will have to come upon an agreement for something. The MEP is fully customizable (song, theme, style) based upon an agreement within your group ofc. Everything will be explained in detail on conference day again.
