SPIRALA
My first solo show in almost a decade.

These works built up over time, for almost three years, circling around the same images.

My small attempt to hold something together.

There are times when creating something feels very intentional.
And other times when it feels almost automatic.
Over the past few years I found myself returning again and again to the same symbols and fragments.
Hands, stars, cut paper, pieces that almost fit together and then fall apart again.
-
I started this piece from the image of a horse, and somewhere along the way it stopped being about that.
It became more about momentum itself.
That instinct to keep moving, making, reacting, even when there isnโt always a clear explanation for why.
Thereโs energy in it, but also a lot of exhaustion.
Freedom mixed with repetition.
A loop pretending to be progress.

SPIRALA opening weekend
Still trying to process it all. wow.
I was in the gallery pretty much the entire weekend but my brain somehow remembers it more like flashes than actual time.

Thanx to everyone who came by, spent time with the works, with me, brought friends, posted stories and filled the space with this amazing energy that was there ๐๐ผ๐๐น
And also mega thanx to everyone who collected work and prints. Really. This means a lot to me.

SPIRALA โฆ YONIL at Mazal Dagim Gallery
How long can you live inside a moment before it starts repeating itself?
Weโre excited to invite you to โSPIRALA" - the new solo exhibition by artist and designer YONIL, his first in a decade.
A series of paintings, prints, and collages created over the past two and a half years, as a wartime became a constant backdrop. The works move between deconstruction and reconstruction, with repeated imagery and bold colors, forming an attempt to hold (or perhaps confront) a gaze that doesnโt look away, within a motion that never quite resolves. A spiral.
Curator: Nitzan Orlovsky
Opening event > Friday, May 8, 2026, at 11:00
Mazal Dagim Gallery > 5 Mazal Dagim Alley, Old Jaffa
Throughout the exhibition: special events, limited edition prints and works for sale, and more surprises!

If Iโm honest, this is why I started.
Album covers.
Years later, after a lot of in between, itโs still the thing that feels the most natural.
Grateful that music keeps showing up in what I do. ๐๐ผ๐น
