Things are different now. Cheers to my physicist, Dr Brother. Who is so loved we took 3 planes just to hug and bother him.

MEET OUR NEW MEMBERS! Today, say hello to Leandria Lott, who tells us she joined #Local802 because “I love that unions connect fair opportunities and living wages with artists.” She adds that her priorities include fair wages and access to insurance. Leandria is a dynamic violinist, violist, guitarist and educator from Huntsville, Alabama. She began playing at age three and developed her craft through orchestras, camps and competitions, eventually earning a B.S. in commercial music performance from @tennstateu . There, she explored the violin beyond traditional settings, forming bands each semester and expanding her musical voice across genres. Her work has taken to the U.K., Italy and the Virgin Islands, and she has shared the stage with #StevieWonder and @kirkfranklin . She’s collaborated on projects with @yamahamusicusa , #EMI, @imgartists , @thestellars and @thebigquiet . Known for her emotive sound and versatility, Leandria brings depth and creativity to every performance and learning space she enters. Leandria tells us that she recently played violin and guitar on the Trailblazing Women of Country tour put together by IMG, where she played hits by @officialpatsycline , @lorettalynnofficial and @dollyparton . “The music was very fun to play and the musicians were amazing to play with,” says Leandria. “So much confidence and expertise on display when we were on stage together!” Leandria also says, “Music has given me deep friendships, a chance to explore the world and challenged my creativity.” Welcome to the union, Leandria! Musicians can join Local 802 at /join (students pay NO initiation fee!) #NewMemberInterviews @afm_union #UnionStrong #LeandriaLott
