Happy one year of Whimsy. You were four months old when we adopted you—some guy tried to sell you at a shell gas station but we were the lucky ones who were able to bring you home. You are the biggest weirdo we know, slender and skittish, always trying to rile your sister up, always down for play time, and destroying our bedroom plants. We can’t handle the little smudge on your nose and the white tip on your black tail. Stay weird, stop bothering your sister.
Happy one year of Houdini.
You came to us as a four month old baby with an infection and an open suture wound but you’ve turned into the most handsome, regal Dame. Whimsy looks up to you and Mika would have hated you. But you are part of our little family forever. @jakezalutsky
Summer 2024: lots of ice cream, beach days, reading, sewing, growing our own fruits+veggies, ceramic studio time, fostering the best doggo, all with Jake by my side. Not pictured: crying during therapy, crying when having to say goodbye to Franny, crying when thinking about the love and support from friends @maria_17_89@katerinamichaela@jennifer_richards614@walterinthewild_@jakezalutsky during some very difficult and grueling times this summer. Can’t wait to cry when the sun starts to set at four.
