Last week, we took our housekeeping team meeting off campus to Westport Lake, creating space for connection and wellbeing. Spending time together in a more relaxed environment encourages open conversation, strengthens team relationships, and supports a positive working culture. The session continued at Westport Lake Café, where informal discussions helped build on the day’s focus. Moments like this are a valuable reminder that investing in people and team culture is just as important as the work itself #YMCA

We were proud to host the first All Parliamentary Group on Youth Affairs outside of London right here at YMCA North Staffordshire 🙌 Chaired by MP David Williams, the roundtable brought together brilliant voices to explore the future of youth work and the vital role it plays in supporting young people. These conversations will help shape the 2025/26 APPG programme and contribute to a forward-looking report, Youth Work in 2035 - influencing policy, practice, and thinking for years to come. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and shared their insight 💬 #YMCA
