The renovation of the original YMCA building, first built 17 years ago, is nearly complete! 🎉 We are excited to welcome members back into this section by June 1st, with the new expansion expected to be completed by the end of the year.
Each day brings incredible progress as construction crews continue moving full speed ahead — installing stair treads, building out the indoor track, laying pool deck tile and drainage systems, refinishing concrete floors, and advancing the building envelope restoration.

VINEYARD SWIMMERS STILL SWIM STRONG 💪
No pool? No problem. While the YMCA undergoes renovations, our swimmers have been putting in the work wherever they can. From time at the Mansion House pool to braving the cold in an outdoor pool. That dedication showed this weekend.
Maverick Meyers and Anders Mason, newly competing in the 11/12 age group, took on the KINGFISH Mayfair meet at Roger Williams University, and delivered. With limited training, the goal was simple: race hard and have fun. Instead, they crushed expectations with multiple personal bests across the board.
From strong swims in the 200 free to big drops in sprint events and a huge finish in the 200 IM, these two kept pushing all weekend long. The results speak for themselves, but even more impressive is their resilience and commitment through a challenging season.
We couldn’t be prouder 👏
Next up: May 15–17 at Sandwich High School, let’s keep it rolling!
