Last week, our Executive Director Selina, alongside our Campaign & Policy Manager Rebecca, represented Young Latino Network and Avanzamos Unidos at the National America Votes Summit.
After hearing Paola Ramos speak about the importance of understanding our people and navigating political polarization, Selina walked away with powerful reflections on how we bring people back into community and civic life.
Later, Selina had the opportunity to share how we’re doing that work at YLN & AU - through racial equity workshops, learning circles, and creating intentional spaces that move people from reflection into civic engagement.
Moments like this remind us that the work happening in our community is part of a much larger movement.
