happy international dance day, my loves 💕
i can’t believe it’s been 12 years of salsa 🥹 icl, learning to dance as an adult was not easy, i just didn’t have the body awareness and muscle control for precise movement 🤪 i literally didn’t even do sport as a kid 😬
there are many things that ive learnt over these 12 years, but the one thing i can learn from baby dancer yim was her fearlessness. she just kept showing up even when dance felt impossible!
to all my baby dancers: i believe in you! you showing up in the room is already a win 🏆

can’t believe we’ve debuted! this was our busiest year yet - opening @soysalsa.uk and building our own community! it’s been a journey for us to learn how to balance giving energy to our students but also keeping up our own training so that we can be the best version of ourselves for them! this piece really challenged us choreographically and as dancers, and we can’t wait to see the growth from it ✨
