This is for my immense love and appreciation to the best crew I ever had. Yesterday, I wrapped on my latest short film THE ALFRED WALTZ - a true story based on my Grandfather. I feel so overwhelmingly joyful, lucky, and I want to burst into tears for how incredible all of these talented and hard working friends, peers, colleagues are, and who always believed in the story… and in me. The beauty of this project does not solely belong to nor come from me. It comes from my grandfather. The woman who fell in love with him. And to the cast & crew who have the sheer wisdom, complexity, courage, and passion to encapsulate and bring to life a love story for the ages - more than I ever could have. I thank you all. It is with a heavy heart to share that 5 days ago, we lost our sweet girl. Ruth brought so much joy to our lives and anyone she met. We didn’t have her long enough, but we loved her more in 3 years than we could have in 3 lifetimes. We hope she’s running in a field and hearding all the other doggies. We love you Ruthie, you’re our sunshine ☀️ 💕🐶

July 10th was the best day of my life. The day I promised my wife @brittleebb that I will walk all the streets in the world with her, always, together.
To spend it with family and the best of friends made this whole trip one we will never forget.
