This Bill directly violates Supreme Court’s NALSA judgment that gave us the right to self identify gender, Puttaswamy judgement that upheld right to Privacy and the Constitution of India that guarantees Equality and Dignity. We reject this Bill entirely. We condemn this dangerous practice of bulldozing bills without consultation and consensus. This Bill helps no one. We firmly stand with our community. The government cannot decide who we are. We will continue to fight against this law and have our rights restored. We fought hard to reach this far, and we are committed to fight harder! Strength, solidarity, and love to everyone ❤️🩹
“Non-sense Bill. Who did they consult? This Bill has been brought in to distract from real issues. How many officers in this government are willing to appear before a medical board? If tomorrow I raise doubts about their gender, will they be ready to appear before a board?”, Rajya Sabha MP from Telangana Congress slams the Transgender Rights Amendment Bill 2026. #rejecttransbill2026 #nogoingback

After Chief Justice Surya Kant Sharma clarified that he was only referring to those with fake degrees who enter the law profession, and claimed that his statement is being misquoted by the media, a video recording has been posted on Twitter that shows the CJI, calling all unemployed youths who enter the activism or media space as cockroaches. He holds the highest office of justice in our country, and has such views about unemployed youths, and activists. What a tragedy! Source: /bharatsuraj01/status/2055987591716151323/video/1?s=46
Growing up as an LGBTQIA+ child in India was not easy for any of us. Stories of bullying and abuse are more common than they should be. For many of us our first bullies were our patents. We learnt to live dual lives very early on and without anyone to guide or support us. If you could go back in time and talk to your younger self, what would you tell them?

Rights groups hailed the decision as a watershed. The Blue Diamond Society, Nepal’s leading LGBTIQ+ organisation, called it “a historic and long‑awaited milestone” that signals official recognition of “the rights, dignity, and inclusion of gender and sexual minorities within the national governance framework.”

Responding to the backlash, Dr Q wrote, “If my mere existence causes this much trouble, I'm excited to see how much my words will. I took a walk with a pal today in the end-of-Spring sun in Leith, and to all of you who stopped and thanked me for running, congratulated me, and hugged me - thank you. To the mothers of trans children who've reached out to tell me they cried when I was elected - thank you. To the women and enbys who've written to say that Scotland is proud of me, and that you have my back - thank you. Scotland is my home because you, my family, fight for me. And for that, amidst the violent hate, I am so very happy. And doesn't that piss people off?”
