& I have a feeling it will only continue to get better from here 🤞🏼
What a blessing to be on this journey creating lifetime memories w my birth sister & my niece by our side 🥹
I grew up dreaming of a future with moments like this.
Gods plan is ALWAYS better than ours
&his timing is ALWAYS right!
I never would’ve found my siblings from my dad’s side of the family had I not fled Tampa to get away from an abusive relationship.
Moving back to Miami, the city I was born in &associated all of my childhood trauma with, to start over as an up & coming promoter at 21 w $500 to my name was not an easy decision,but I trusted my gut.
I documented that chapter of my life on Snapchat &would eventually build a local Miami following due to people wanting to attend my events,or perhaps just to see if I’d fail.
One of those new followers happened to be one of my long lost sisters who would eventually slide into my DM’s on Facebook to which my rude a** would reply,
“do I know you?” 😭
Eventually I did make it as a promoter
&of course chose to spend my first real check on a pair of heels at Giuseppe in Bal Harbour- definitely not the most financially sound decision at that time considering I was couch surfing, yet the choice God wanted me to make bc @angelicacapuzzo worked at the sushi spot next door & that’s how she found me😅
I’ll never forget how nervous she looked walking in on me trying those shoes on as she worked up the courage to introduce herself & let me know we’re related 😭

I’d meet the rest of my siblings (& eventually my father) a few weeks later &the rest is history!
Now my daughter gets to spend her childhood growing up w a bunch of cousins & I get to enjoy real sisterhood while learning how to be the best mom I can be!
All while healing my inner child in the process🙏🏼
I look back now &I thank God for the blessings that once felt like curses.
Wherever u r in life,trust that it’s right where you’re meant 2b!

I’ve been working & going through so much personally these past few years, I often fixate on how it all affects my ability to show up as a mom.
If River’s first single titled “I Love My Momma” is any indication of my performance thus far,
I think it’s safe to say I’m doing alright 🥹
This sped up footage was all I could fit of her very lengthy 5 minute pool composition/performance in this edit 😭
One thing these lyrics made very clear is who baby girls best friend is - and I couldn’t think of a Mother’s Day gift more lovely than that 🥹 🫶🏼
To all of the working mothers out there who never go a full day without feeling the weight of missing those special moments at home- I hope this can serve as a reminder that we are often too hard on ourselves.
Our love is powerful and our children can always feel it. They know our hearts belong to them
& one day they will be old enough to understand the sacrifices that were made 🙏🏼
I hope all of the amazing mommas out there had a wonderful and relaxing Mother’s Day! 💖🫶🏼
River almost took me out the first time she told me it was “time to make the donuts” 😭😂
I don’t know where these kids get this stuff from but the saying is now a part of our morning ritual and makes getting her up for school in the morning something cute and fun for us instead of something she dreads.
(Challenging her to a race on the way to the car from the front door also helps us speed things along & make it to drop off on time!)
The magic of parenthood lies in the little in between moments like this! Mornings waking up next to these two snuggling me are when I feel the closest to God 💖

Questions that need answers!
In the midst of me working to get back to “myself” post partum- trying my best to find the perfect balance of work, family & personal life, I looked up and realized that my daughter somehow isn’t a toddler anymore.
What a terrifying realization that was.
How did it happen so fast? I thought I had more time to be better, to figure this balance thing out and be the best toddler mom I can be. Just when I started getting the hang of it, another birthday came and suddenly, I don’t have a toddler anymore. I have a child who’s growing and learning at a rapid pace, so much though that she’s even holding me accountable at times. Soon enough she won’t even want me to play with her anymore.
Time is always moving, with or without you, and parenthood will reveal that truth to you ruthlessly.
It’s a wild and terrifying thing to witness first hand.
I go to pick her up and I realize that I have about another year or two of me being able to hold her in my arms before she’s too long and heavy.
I cry just thinking about it 🥹
The reality is, we don’t have time.
All we have is now.
This moment & what we choose to do with it.
Being a mom is a constant battle of wishing you could be two places at once and never knowing if you made the right decision on where to prioritize your time.
What I’ve learned in the past four years as the woman who trademarked Never Not Working is this-
As a parent, you will never look back and wish you had spent more time at work.

That intimate audience from 2012 helped me choose my first ever employee
(shout out to Baby Mel who’s not such a baby anymore 🥹🥲 @maluevolution 💫)
design our first logo,
they even chose which DJ’s I’d hire for FDR Mondays & Best Day Ever.
My snap fam was with me when i got my first office at WeWork, when I signed my first artist, launched 1AM Radio on Dash, produced my first ever Art Basel event, they even helped me design my own sneaker with Puma & then showed up & showed out on release weekend making my capsule one of the fastest selling collabs they had drop that year 🥲
More importantly, my snap fam was there for me when i got cancelled, extorted, back stabbed, cheated on… you name it 😅😭
They fed me positive energy & words of affirmation in the tough moments when i needed it the most- and that’s why Snapchat is and always will be my favorite social media platform!
In a digital world that’s increasingly focused on metrics, Snap has remained a fun, positive platform where creators can focus on storytelling & community building rather than followers & likes.
Their creator program, launched only a few years ago, has already changed hundreds of lives & created a whole new generation of digital entrepreneurs.
The #Snappys was such a wonderful way to bring everyone together in one room to celebrate!
